Sony barely advertises their games.
But MS advertises EVERY SINGLE DANG GAME lol. I mean seriously, they even advertise the hell out of the crappy games.
Before the recall, LBP was always in the top 3 in the sales ranking for ALL videogames. The moment that recall hit, it dropped to like 19. So I can imagine other retailers hitting a similar demand drop when the Quran delay hit.

The arcade business has never slowed down in Japan. Whereas on the other hand, in the U.S., arcades having been a dying breed. The only places you can play arcade games are some movie theaters, resorts like disney world and disney land, and a few arcades left throughout America.
Luckily, I live in NYC, so I'm sure Chinatown's arcade will get the import cabinet.

I bought MS 2 and rented Pure.
First off, the games aren't completely similar
Secondly, the only reason Pure even constantly gets any mention is because the 360 doesn't have any other game like it. Whereas on the other hand, the ps3 doesn't even need pure because of Motorstorm. If the 360 had an exclusive game similar to Motorstorm, trust me, Pure wouldn't even get mention.

The GT5 makers KNOW how to do it.
They are talking about actually being ALLOWED to do damage. They are referring to the fact that some makers still aren't allowing them to put damage on the cars. Such as Ferrari. This goes back to even the ps2 days when some makers said Polyphony makes GT too realistic and don't want their car interiors exposed by having car damage in the game

This is just the way all the xbox fans kept saying Valkyria was selling poorly (which it isn't) when Amazon dropped the price from 59.99 to 49.99.
This one MIGHT be promotional just like Valkyria. I say that because in BOTH cases, only ONE store and/or site were doing such a sale.

Amazon is the only place dropping that. No other retailers are doing it. Which tells you that $10 drop is promotional. That has nothing to do with bad sales. And considering where the game was placed even BEFORE the price reduction, the sales are fine
